Social Media for Nonprofits conference series kicks off in SF

JD LasicaOn June 29, I’ll be part of a great gathering in San Francisco, kicking off a seven-city conference series called Social Media for Nonprofits.

The full-day conference is less about concepts and theory than practical tips and tools for fundraising, marketing and advocacy. The day includes keynotes, workshops by leading experts and interactive roundtables.

Speakers include Guy Kawasaki, author of the new book “Enchantment,” Beth Kanter of Zoetica, Susan Gordon of Causes.com, Jonah Sachs of Free Range Studios, Charles Porch of Facebook, Darian Heyman, Susan Tenby of TechSoup Global and Kellie McElhaney, founding faculty director of the Center for Responsible Business at the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
