Excellent article. You have one option missing from this selection in regards to mobile giving technology for nonprofits. Mobile Giving Landing pages by Push2Pay. This works similar to micro-donation technology with a very important exception. With mobile giving pages, a consumer would text the keyword to a shortcode and the response would include a link to click on. Clicking on this link takes the donor to a mobile giving page where they can donate ANY AMOUNT using their credit card including setting up recurring donations. The funds would hit the nonprofit orgs account within 72 hours. We've seen $100-$150 giving averages per donor with this technology - HUGE! Although some argue that this technology is a bit more involved since a person would have to type in their name, email, and cc number, however, the landing page is built for mobile devices. Pretty exciting leap forward I think! Check it out - we would love your opinion. http://push2pay.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=297&Itemid=217

The eco system is continuing to change. Where MGF and mGive foundation were only two, MobileCause now opens access even more and creates a more streamlined approach. MobileCause, unlike competitors in the space, is focused SOLELY on the NPO space. Good news and exciting stuff! <a href="http://tinyurl.com/4ub82ls" rel="nofollow">http://tinyurl.com/4ub82ls</a>
