Now you can do it on Facebook directly instead of using a third-party tool

John HaydonAfew weeks ago Facebook — which just passed 955 million members — rolled out a new feature that lets page administrators schedule updates in advance. In other words, you pick the specific date and time when your update goes live.

You may have noticed that the status update box, where you enter updates for your page, now has a little clock icon at the bottom left corner (see image). Up until now, you’ve had to use a third-party tool like HootSuite, PostPlanner or Buffer to do this.

You can schedule a post up to six months in advance in 10-minute intervals, from your Page’s sharing tool by following the instructions I lay out in the 100-second video tutorial above.
