I would appreciate some guidance - I am in the beginning stages of developing a mobile application and desktop solution for a niche business. I'm not a technical person but have resources that can further develop the software but need suggestions for choosing the right platform to use for my software foundation. In short I need all the basic social networking features with group & event scheduling strengths that can provide both a mobile and desktop solution. The foundation need to support a web service API foundation so I can integrate other services as the business develops. I have experience with elgg but no other platforms. Can anyone offer me some advice on what I need to consider while I research all my options. Thanks for your help!!!

This is really a great and useful piece of info. I am glad to visit your blog. Please keep us up to date like this. Thank you for sharing. Business Logo Designers

Thank you! As a new small business owner, I am finding that your site will be one of my most valuable resources!

It would be neat to see a list of all the social media platforms being used (popular) today. Twitter and Facebook are big now, but who are the up-and-comers?

This site's incredible. I am lost for words. :-)

Thanks for including BuzzStream in this list, JD! It's a great group of services and we appreciate being included.
